Sicklerville is a beautiful town with a rich history and lots of cultures. There are a number of things to do in the area. Sicklerville is a town in Gloucester County, New Jersey that has been around for over 200 years. In its heyday, Sicklerville was a farming town with an active gristmill. The stone mill dam still remains today and is the only original feature from when this place was called ‘Stewart’s Mills’. In 1956, Sicklerville got its own school district so the kids no longer had to go into Camden by bus to go to school. It wasn’t until the 1960s that people started moving into Sicklerville for work though. A lot of people who moved to Sicklerville were from Philadelphia. When they retired, a number of them went back to the city but some stayed. See here for information about Monroe, New Jersey: A Quiet and Peaceful Escape.
